The Teaching & Learning group is committed to supporting and expanding hands-on learning opportunities both within SEAS and throughout Harvard. In addition to supporting the Harvard community, we oversee the REEF Makerspace, which offers hands-on experiences at the intersection of art, culture, and science to the general public.
Teaching & Learning at SEAS encompasses a variety of instructional design and fabrication spaces such as:
In addition to managing instructional spaces, the Teaching & Learning group manages the Scientific Instrument Shops located in Cambridge. This shop crafts custom-built machine parts for Harvard faculty and the wider community.
Lastly, Teaching & Learning collaborates closely with The Learning Incubator (Linc), which supports the development of innovations of pedagogy in engineering and science.
