Course Support

The CEE team can assist SEAS faculty and staff interested in exploring how computation can be integrated into their courses.  This includes, but is not limited to course activities, lectures, homework assignments, projects, and labs.  Interested faculty and staff should contact CEE with questions or to request a consultation.

Request Access to the HUIT Virtual Machine 

CEE partners with Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT) to provide SEAS courses access to virtual machines equipped with the latest software and tools needed for completing coursework remotely.  Please contact CEE to request course access to the HUIT virtual machine. 

NOTE: The HUIT virtual machine is for teaching and learning activities onlyFor academic access related to JupyterHub, high-performance compute resources, and Linux-based remote desktops, please contact FAS Academic Technology (Request form here).

Request Software

CEE is available to assist SEAS faculty and staff in exploring software options for course specific needs.  If there is a software that is not available in the CEE Computer Lab (SEC 1.107), faculty and course staff can contact CEE to request to install new software.

NOTE: All software requests should be for SEAS courses or for teaching and learning activities only. Faculty and course staff are encouraged to submit a request for software as early as possible to ensure that the request can be filled and that the requested software will be available in time for the start of the following term.
