Coppélia Marincovic, S.M. ’08, Jake Russell and Adam Jackson have been selected as the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) Experts-in-Residence for the Harvard Innovation Labs. Selected by SEAS Dean for Research David Hwang, the Experts-in-Residence (EiRs) will provide virtual and in-person engagement with students at the i-lab throughout the school year.
Marincovic studied environmental science and engineering at SEAS. She’s now a partner at Solvay Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on startups in the climate science and sustainability spaces.
Russell received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Chicago, and went on to a master’s degree in chemistry and Ph.D. in materials chemistry from Columbia University. He’s now an operating partner at Propeller VC, which invests in ocean-climate innovation startups.
Jackson studied finance as an undergraduate at Bentley University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the Cornell Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. He’s an investment partner at Robert Bosch Venture Capital, whose operating areas include automotive, industrial technology, consumer goods and building technology.
EiRs are appointed directly by the Deans at each Harvard school. The SEAS EiRs were selected for their relevant experience, expertise, and importance to the SEAS mission, specifically the translation of faculty-led science and engineering research from SEAS labs out to markets for big impact.
