Ben Zauzmer (A.B. ‘15) has been promoted to Assistant General Manager for the New York Mets. Zauzmer graduated with a degree in applied mathematics from the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, then went to work for the Los Angeles Dodgers as manager of baseball analytics.
The Mets hired Zauzmer to direct their analytics department in early 2021. Within a year, he was promoted to assistant GM.
Since 2012, Zauzmer has been making math-based predictions for Oscar winners, publishing a book on the subject in November 2019.
