Breaktime, a nonprofit co-founded by Connor Schoen, A.B. ’20 (applied math), and Tony Shu, A.B. ’21 (urban studies), has been featured in Forbes.
The feature covers the 2018 launch of Breaktime, an initiative that planned to build the Breaktime Café where young adults experiencing homelessness could find employment and build skills.
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in March, 2020, Schoen and Shu pivoted to launch the Breaktime Double Impact Initiative, employing young adults experiencing homelessness to prepare and serve healthy meals to communities around the Boston area that were hard-hit by the pandemic.
