Jean Andino, S.B. ’88 (engineering sciences), shared insights from her education and career with ASU Now, the Arizona State University (ASU) news site.
Andino, associate professor of chemical engineering at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at ASU, was one of the first Hispanic women in the U.S. to become a tenured engineering faculty member.
Her research seeks to address air quality issues through chemical kinetics and reaction engineering principles applied to understanding atmospheric chemical transformations.
