Andrew Chung, A.B. ’99 (applied math), and the venture capital firm he founded, 1955 Capital, were featured in a Yahoo! Finance article about investment in ‘ClimateTech.’
1955 Capital, which Chung founded in 2015, invests in advanced technologies from the Americas and Europe that have the potential to solve pressing challenges in China and other developing nations, such as energy and environment, food safety and supply, and access to healthcare and education.
‘ClimateTech’ is a category of solutions that help combat climate change and enable governments, corporations, and individuals to take action, according to the article.
Chung and his wife, Coral, CEO of Senreve, are also members of the SEAS Dean's Advisory Cabinet.
