Tennessee Titans tight end Anthony Firkser, A.B. ’17 (applied math) became the first NFL player in Harvard history to catch a postseason touchdown pass during the Titans’ 20-13 win over the New England Patriots in the AFC Wild Card game on Jan. 4.
With 5:39 left to play in the first quarter, Firkser caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ryan Tannehill to cap off a seven-play, 75-yard drive. He had two receptions for 23 yards during the game.
