Weng Si Ho, S.M. ’05 (engineering sciences – bioengineering), was profiled in a BioSpectrum “Women Achiever’s Special” feature article.
Ho, who currently serves as director of biological sciences at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), has helped to lead the growth of the biomedical sciences sector in Singapore since she joined the EDB in 2005. Biomedical sciences industries now account for more than one third of Singapore’s annual GDP.
Ho said the key to her success at EDB is her belief in teamwork.
