A sad passing

Joseph Harrington, Gordon McKay Professor of Environmental Engineering and Professor of Environmental Health Engineering in the HSPH Department of Environmental Health, has passed away

October 12, 2006

He was 69 years old. Harrington received his Ph.D. in applied physics and engineering from Harvard. During his 42 years at the University he studied the application of systems analysis techniques environmental problems.
